We had a wonderful stay here. We have 2 kids (5 and 7) and stayed in a 2 queen bed room. This is our second stay and we will definitely be back again. When you check in (and probably around noon), they put out complimentary cookies at the front desk. At 5 pm (and this is my favorite as well as the kiddos) they put out Ivar's salmon chowder!!!! Free! It's sooo good and great if you didn't want to go out for dinner. They go all out for breakfast. They had sausage, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, potatoes, cereals, oatmeal, yogurts, hard boiled eggs, bagels, English muffins, blueberry muffins, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and probably more I'm forgetting. Beds: they are comfortable, firm, but not too firm. The pillows were firm at the beginning but they kept flattening through the night. There were about 5 pillows on the bed so maybe we just chose the wrong one. We all slept great though despite this. Rooms: they have so much space to put items. There is a closet, desk, huge fridge that has 3 shelves (no freezer), microwave, Keurig coffee maker with pods. Enough towels for our whole stay. They are clean looking. Carpet is somewhat old, but is in good shape. We were on the third floor and it had an awesome view of the water. The sunset was spectacular. Very quiet, didn't hear anyone else. AC worked REALLY well! Shower head is high up so if you are tall you don't have to duck. It was clean looking. Place to set shampoos/soaps. They have a hook on the back of the door and a closet to hang things. The pool goes up to 4 feet and the hot tub can seat at least 8. The sauna took a while to get comfy and can only seat 3 adults. There is a bathroom in the pool area as well as a shower area which is the only hotel that has had this during our trip. The water in the pool was probably 70...72. It was warm but not the warmest hotel pool. Definitely clean. All the staff were so friendly. They were respectful and attentive.

The hotel was in an excellent, quiet, convenient location at the far end of the Astoria Riverwalk. Just a couple of miles from the city center, close to the River Trolley, and near the bridge to Oregon. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The hotel offered nice additional extras like free delicious salmon chowder in the evening, and free cookies. The room and linens were spotlessly clean. The room also included a microwave, a small refrigerator, a Keurig machine for tea and coffee, and bottles of water. The interior might be slightly dated but you get excellent value for your travel dollars. The breakfast options included in your stay are simple, but more then adequate to start your day.

Beautiful & quiet location right on the edge of the bay, within walking distance of downtown Astoria. Rooms were clean, spacious, no smoking smell, matress was extremely comfortable, room has AC. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, sauna, & walk along the dock. The free coffee, breakfast & soup was delicious. We liked that it was a nice hot breakfast, not just “continental” grab & go stuff. The staff was very kind & attentive. We had all the amenities we needed & appreciated that we could check in pretty late (around 10pm). It was also nice to have a later (11am) check out time as well. Nothing but happy with this place. We would absolutely stay here again. Will definitely save to our favorites list.

This was the BEST hotel of our whole 2-week vacation! We had the King room with whirlpool - not because we wanted or even used the whirlpool, but because it's the only room type that doesn't allow pets and I have allergies. The room and amenities were amazing, clean, and comfortable. They cleaned so well, in fact, that the pillow cases smelled a bit of bleach. It was a lovely room and I would definitely stay there, in that type of room again if we are ever back in Astoria. Highly recommend!

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The availability of coffee, cookies and salmon chowder especially pleased my husband. The breakfast was very nice with a variety of offerings. The staff at the front desk and the breakfast room were friendly and welcoming. We also appreciated being able to easily adjust the temperature in the room and that the fan was a reasonable volume unlike in some hotels.
